PA Journalists ‘Sit-In’ to Protest Photographer Kidnapping
Arutz Sheva
(IsraelNN.com) Some 70 Arab journalists in the Palestinian Authority demonstrated Thursday in Gaza to protest the kidnapping of one of their colleagues, photographer Jaime Razuri.
The journalists staged a sit-in in front the of PA parliament building in the city, waving signs that proclaimed “Freedom of the Press” and “Freedom for our Colleague.”
The photographer, who works for the French APF news agency, was grabbed by masked gunmen after leaving the agency’s bureau in Gaza City on Monday. The group that kidnapped Razuri has not been identified, nor have the terrorists contacted anyone.
There are fears for the photographer’s life, especially since he has a heart condition and is without his medication. His whereabouts and condition are currently unknown.
